1.What this policy covers
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage does a similar job inside your browser. This policy lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage Cambleu uses, on our own pages and on the event websites hosts make with us, what each one is for and how long it lasts.
Cambleu is provided by Cambleu Technology Limited. How we handle personal information in general is in our privacy policy.
2.Cookies Cambleu needs to work
These keep you signed in, keep our forms safe and remember the steps you are part way through. The website cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent. They are only ever read by Cambleu.

3.Cookies that remember a choice you make
These are only set when you do something that needs them, so they do not need your consent either.

4.Analytics cookies, only if you agree
If you accept our cookie banner, Google Analytics sets these cookies on Cambleu’s own pages (the website, sign-up and your dashboard) to show us how people find and use Cambleu. If you do not accept, they are never set and nothing is sent to Google. They are never used on the event websites guests visit, on guest pages or on gift pages. We do not use advertising cookies.

Google keeps the information it collects for 14 months. Our privacy policy explains what is sent and why.
5.Browser storage
Cambleu also keeps a few small things in your browser. They never leave it.

6.Other companies
Some features use services from other companies, which follow their own cookie and privacy policies:
- Cloudflare Turnstile, our check that you are a person, runs on sign-up, log-in, replies and leaving a memory. It may use information about your browser to tell people from automated programs.
- Signing in with Google takes you to Google’s own pages, where Google’s cookies apply.
- On an event website, a livestream or video from YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo only loads when you press play. Then that service may set its own cookies. YouTube videos play from its privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com).
7.Your choices
You can change your mind about analytics cookies at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of our pages. Saying no stops Google Analytics and removes its cookies from your browser.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. If you block the cookies Cambleu needs, you will not be able to sign in, reply to an event or leave a memory.
8.Changes and contact
We update this policy whenever we add, remove or change a cookie, and change its date at the top.
